Product Management
REACH
The REACH regulation, which stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Abbreviation of Chemicals, entered into force in 2007 with the aim of protecting human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in products manufactured and sold in the European Union and at the same time increasing competitiveness. In order for potentially hazardous substances to be covered by REACH, they must be identified as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) at the request of Member States or the European Commission. Once a substance is approved as an SVHC, it is added to the Candidate List. Annex XVII of REACH, also known as the restricted substances list, restricts the production, use and marketing of certain substances throughout the EU, whether or not they are authorized.
Based on information received from our suppliers and our current knowledge of the product composition, we can confirm that all substances subject to registration are registered or exempt from registration by us or our upstream suppliers. For further information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) of our products.

ZDHC
The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Joint Roadmap seeks to define and develop a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) for ZDHC member brands and the apparel and footwear industry.
The ZHDC MRSL addresses hazardous substances that are potentially used or released into the environment during manufacturing and related processes, not just substances that may be present in finished products.
The ZDHC MRSL helps chemical formulators by providing guidance on substances they can avoid using in their products.
Suppliers also benefit. To make the materials, they need to source various chemical products from formulators. ZDHC MRSL makes this process easier by ensuring that hazardous substances are not in these products.
The ZDHC MRSL can be found electronically at http://mrsl.roadmaptozero.com/
What are the restricted substances and substance groups according to the ZDHC MRSL?
Alkylphenol (AP) Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APEOs)
Chlorbenzenes & Chlortoluenes
Chlorphenols
Azo - Dyestuffs (Amine containing with restricted use)
Dyestuff - Navy Blue
Dyestuff - Carcinogenic or equivalent
Dyestuff - Allergenic Disperse Dyes
Flame retardants (containing SCCP)
Glycols
Halogen-containing solvents
Organotin compounds
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs)
Phthalates - including other compounds containing ortho-phthalic acid ester
All heavy metals
Volatile organic compounds (VOC)
According to the undertakings and reports we receive from our suppliers, we are aware that the products we currently offer do not intentionally use chemicals specified in the Restricted Substance List (MRSL) or contain substances with impurities added above the specified limits.
GOTS
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is one of the world's leading standards that certifies the entire textile supply chain through independent certification and specifies textile processing conditions for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria.
The purpose of this standard is to define the conditions for ensuring the organic status of textile products, starting from the harvesting of raw materials to labeling, in order to provide reliable assurance to the end consumer with an environmentally and socially responsible production approach. This standard covers the production, processing, packaging, labeling, trade and distribution of all textile products, at least 70% of which are made from certified organic natural fibers.
